This is a recipe I made up tonight using some different fruits than our normal American Fruit salad in an attempt to get my kids to try something new.

  1. Slice all the fruit up into bite size peices.
  2. Drizzle with the Agave Nectar.
  3. Toss to mix and enjoy!

This was AWESOME! I happened to find really good examples of each fruit, so they were all really ripe and yummy. The agave nectar really did add just a bit of sweetness to bring them together. This was groovy, even after chilling in the fridge for an hour, but the real kicker is how pretty it is, with almost all of the colors of the fruit rainbow! Thanks for sharing! What a tasty fruit salad. It was my first opportunity to use agave nectar, and I am glad I went to the trouble to find it. Because although the entire salad was very tasty, I thought the agave nectar and naturally sweet pear in particular flavored this salad well. I am really looking forward to making this often this summer. Made for ZWT #5.

Crikey this was yummy! It was my first time using agave nectar but I am really glad I went out and bought it. I try to follow a low GI diet and so discovering this was low GI was a real bonus. I had this for breakfast and it was the prefect start to the day. Made for The Chow Hounds on ZWT5.
