I can't wait to try this! I've never had one and now I want to run to the store to get the ingredients!!
- Stir one raw egg and pour it into the bottom of a large,tall glass
- Add 3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup, followed by a 1/2 cup of milk. Stir thoroughly.
- Hold a bottle of seltzer 12 inches above the glass as you pour the seltzer into the glass and allow the seltzer to foam to the top .
- Stir once more and the drink and enjoy.
This is a terrible recipe. There is NO EGG in an egg cream. Any New Yorker can tell you this. A raw egg is very serious to your gastro health. Pleae omit the egg.
There is no eggs in a true NY Egg Cream.
