New England Toll House Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 12-cup muffin tin with baking spray.
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients, flour to baking soda, in a large bowl. Add chocolate chips, and stir to coat with flour.
  3. In another bowl, mix egg, milk, yogurt, butter, and vanilla.
  4. Make a well in the dry ingredients and add wet ingredients, blending lightly, until just moistened. Spoon batter into prepared muffin tins, filling batter to rim of muffin cup.
  5. Bake 18-20 minutes or until tester comes out clean.

Really delicious! I used mini chocolate chips & did everything else as directed. I got 15 muffins rather than 12. My son (who loves chocolate chip muffins) thought these were wonderful. Thanks for a good one!!!

Wonderful muffins! I used mini-chips and I didn't have vanilla yogurt so I used sour cream and added an extra 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. The texture was very light and taste was absolutely wonderful right out of the oven. I'll definitely make these again.

These were awsome. I used applesauce instead of butter and egg beaters instead of egg. Great. Not too sweet, so made a great breakfast.
