Easy to make and you will always get great dumplings.
- Combine all dry ingredient together.
- Cut in shortening.
- Add milk and mix.
- Drop by spoonfuls into simmering soup or stew.
- Cook 10 minutes uncovered, and 10 minutes covered.
- DO NOT TAKE THE LID OFF UNTIL THE 10 MINUTES ARE UP.
This is like having biscuits and gravy without having to bake biscuits or make gravy. Just the thing for a dumpling craving. I successfully made 1/2 a recipe with 2 cups of broth. The directions worked perfectly.
