This is a great variation of pecans. They are slightly sweet and make great gifts

  1. Heat all the ingredients in an iron skillet on medium heat.
  2. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon until all the moisture is cooked out.
  3. Sugar will crystallize on pecans.
  4. Turn out on wax paper.
  5. Break apart as they cool.

Very good and easy to make. I had some pecans laying around so decided to give this recipe a try. I followed the recipe exactly as written. Loved them.

My family loved this recipe....and they generally don't care for pecans! Kudos!

I made 2 batches of this - sent some to the teachers & neighbors. Very easy to make and it's very clear when they are dry & done. As others have stated, they aren't overly sweet, they're just right.
