a great contribution from some of the best griller's of this age. The vinegar is a necessary ingredient for any BBQ sauce, any BBQ sauce without the twang is just fancy ketchup.
I agree with reviewer Jazze22 that it's too vinegary for a ketchup based bbq sauce. I don't make bbq sauce much anymore, so I doubt if I'll make it again. But if I did, I'd cut the apple cider vinegar in half.
EXCELLENT!!!!! So easy
Excellent and so easy!
this is one of the best BBQ recipes I have found in a long time my Hubby loves it ! thanks Neely's you rock
This was very good, a bit to much vinegar for me but other than that very good. Thanks for the recipe.
This is the best BBQ sauce I've ever had. I've searched a long time and now I have my favorite sauce. I had ribs in the crock pot and I simmered my sauce for 40 minutes. I then poured some of it on my ribs and let it keep simmering with the ribs. Thirty minutes later the ribs were done and the sauce's ingredients had married nicely. Very very good.
I have used this recipe several times and my family loves it.
Passed the 'grandsons' test' .. the recipe went home with them. I used it on ribs, but doubled the Neely factor by using the Neely dry rub first.
This is a great BBQ Sauce, its, rich, thick and full of flavor (sweet and tangy) . I used it on chicken thighs tonight, it glazed the chicken perfectly. I can't wait to try this delicious sauce on pork tenderloin. Thanks so much for sharing Brandess.
