This sauce is great! Allowing it to simmer is key.

I was going to post this for safe-keeping, but here it is! I am not rating this, because I have not made it yet. On the Food Network site, the recipe calls for 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of the black pepper, onion powder and dry mustard, not 1/2 tsp. They add 1 1/2 tsps. of paprika, but I will probably reduce that to 1/2 tsp. Also, they add 1/2 of a lemon, juiced. Thanks for posting, cookiedog.

Best BBQ Sauce Ever !!! I made the BBQ sauce and there is not much left. It is a little bit on the sweet side. Next time I think I will use half the sugars in this. My family loved it. I also added this to spaghetti... Delicious.....

Oh my goodness this is WONDERFUL (I wouldn't expect any less from the Neely's)!!! This is a great tangy sauce for pork or chicken or ribs. I actually added 1 cup of "no sugar added" granny smith applesauce during the last 30 minutes which really took some of the tangy "bite" out of the sauce and made it incredibly smooth and thick. Cannot wait to put this on some BBQ meat tomorrow night! 10 stars or more on this one!
