Just simply comfort food!!
- 453.59 g navy beans
- 1892.0 ml water
- chopped onion
- chopped carrot
- 59.14 ml butter
- ham bone
- salt and pepper
- Soak navy beans according to pkg directions.
- Saute onion and carrots in butter.
- Combine all ingredients in large soup kettle; bring to a boil and let simmer until beans are soft- about 1 to 2 hours.

very easy to prepare. my first try at navy bean soup of any kind. i did notice, however, it was missing "something", just not sure what. will keep trying to perfect it. but overall, good recipe.
