I heard this idea on a radio program long ago and decided to try it when I ran out of the wash I bought at the health food store. This produce wash seems to work as well as the store bought versions, and I know for sure what's in it .
- Simply mix water and vinegar (I use white) in a spray bottle.
- Spray on your vegetables then scrub with a vegetable brush or your hands.
- Rinse well.
This is great. I used it to wash bell peppers and lemons. Thanks Blessed One :) Made for I recommend tag game
I used this today when preparing a salad, and it worked wonderfully. There is no aftertaste as long as you rinse the vegetables well. From what I have read, this type of mix helps remove remaining pesticides from produce. Thanks for posting! Made for Healthy Choices Tag!
