This smoothie uses the natural sugars in the banana, figs, and honey to give great energy and fiber from the banana, figs, and oats to make you feel fuller longer. The honey and cinnamon give great flavor to the banana fig mix.
- 1 sliced banana, frozen
- 4 turkish dried figs, stems removed
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1⁄2-1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 -1 1⁄2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1⁄4 cup old fashioned oats
- Combine all ingredients in blend.
- For a smoother consistency, first blend just figs, honey, cinnamon, and 1/2 cup almond milk until smooth. Then add remaining ingredients and blend.
