Nancy's Beef Stroganoff

- 1 lb beef, cut into strips
- 1 tablespoon Kitchen Bouquet
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 1⁄4 teaspoons marjoram
- 2 pints mushrooms
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1⁄8 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
directions
- Mix together beef, Kitchen Bouquet, dry mustard, and marjoram. Set aside for a few minutes while you slice the mushrooms.
- Slice the mushrooms.
- Heat oil in electric frying pan or large skillet, add meat.
- Brown meat and add mushrooms.
- Turn heat down and simmer, covered, for about 30 minutes, until meat is tender.
- Add Sour Cream and ketchup.
- cook only long enough to heat sour cream and ketchup. You don't want it to boil.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over egg noodles (we like wide ones).
