MMMmmmmmmmmmm. The best!! The Italians can claim the best pasta... the Americans the best burgers, but the Brits definitely got the best trifle. This is the authentic trifle just as my nan also made it - it bought back so many memories. Just one tip - don't make it unless you are going to make it exactely as written. This recipe is spot on. Try and use the 'seedless' raspberry jam. Thanks Uncle Bill

i swapped the sherry wine for fruit juice as my kids wanted some too. we all thought it was a nice change to our normal trifle
