This is the recipe that my grandmother and mother used to make. No ground beef or canned cream of mushroom soup here! Worth the extra time

  1. Cut meat into very thin strips; trim off excess fat. Brown meat and mushrooms in butter. Add onions and red bell pepper. Combine soup, tomato paste and seasonings; add to meat mixture. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Just before serving, add sour cream. Serve over rice, sprinkle with parsley.
