This was a fantastic naan recipe. The taste was perfect. I added a handful of gratd cheese and a 1/2 tablespoon of garlic before seperating into individual balls for extra taste. Once I'd flattened them out, I brushed them with garlic butter. YUM! Thanks for the great recipe!

I am a great fan of Madhur Jaffrey and this was an excellent Naan bread recipe. I cheated and started the dough off in my bread maker, as I was busy in the kitchen doing other things - and then finished them off by hand. I cooked them and then re-heated them in the toaster for the evening meal = a great time saving solution! Excellent Naan bread that I WILL be making again! Thanks AandA's Mum! FT:-)

I tried this yesterday and it is a very good naan recipe, I have tried quite a few in the past and this one is my favortie so far. I really like how this is done in the oven rather than on a skillet, I feel the end result for this was less dense than my past versions. I will be putting these in lunch bags a lot more often I think!

can't believe this recipe hasn't been reviewed yet! i've tried several naan recipes from zaar and never quite got the right consistency - the dough would be too tough and the results less than desirable. but this recipe is perfect and SO easy! i rolled the naans out really thin and they puffed up beautifully, also - when i brushed them with butter (i used clarified butter), i sprinkled on some sesame seeds and nigella seeds alternatively. perfect! thanks for this recipe aaliyahs mum -- do you have any idea how to make a stuffed naan? like keema stuffed etc? i am not a premium member so can't email you - could you email me instead (coz am able to reply). thanks again for the lovely recipe.
