  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Topping: Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Filling: In a med bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, salt, vanilla and egg until combined.
  5. Pour into pie shell top with chopped pecans.
  6. Pour topping over pecans.
  7. Bake for 45 minute serve warm or at room temperature.

I was more than pleased with the results and it was a hit at Thanksgiving. I don't know if I will ever make a regular pecan pie again. Delicious and not terribly sweet as many pecan pies can be. Easy to make, too

Fabulous, this is great for my nonpumpkin pie eaters. They want it again at Christmas. Easy to assemble.
