This was one of mom's "new" favorites that became a staple for a slightly "dressed-up" dinner.
- 1 1⁄2 lbs round steaks
- 1 (2 ounce) package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1 (12 ounce) can mushrooms, sauce
- 1 (2 ounce) package sour cream, sauce mix
- egg noodles
- 2 beef bouillon cubes

- Salt and flour lightly 1 1/2 pounds round steak, sliced into strips. Brown in skillet with 1 tablespoon oil. Add 1/2 package Lipton onion soup mix and 1 small can mushroom sauce. Simmer 1/2 to 1 hour. Fix 1 package sour cream sauce mix, add to meat mixture at the last 5 minutes of cooking. Serve over noodles which have been cooked in boiling water to which were added 2 beef bouillon cubes.
