directions

  • stretch the dough into a 10"x16" rectangle and cut into 10 1" strips.
  • twist into pretzel shapes, place well apart on a greased cookie sheet.
  • top with tomato sauce, cheese, onion, then poppy seeds.
  • let rise a little depending on how fluffy you like them.
  • bake at 350f for 10-15 min or until bread is barely cooked but toppings are all still soft. the ones i'm used to are always a little undercooked and they're best that way.
