My Mum's Banana Cake

"This banana cake is my Mum's own recipe, and it's so easy to make! Personally, I don't like icing on it, but if you choose to put icing, coffee icing works well. (Australian measurements used)"

ingredients

• 236.59 ml sugar
• 59.14 ml butter
• 2 eggs
• 3 mashed bananas
• 4.92 ml bicarbonate of soda
• 29.58 ml milk
• 354.88 ml self raising flour

directions

1. Beat butter and sugar till creamed. Add eggs and mashed bananas.
2. Mix bicarb soda and milk - add to mixture. Add flour.
3. Pour mixture into prepared pan and bake at 190ºC for 30-35 minutes.
