directions

  • (firstly i've suggested TWO cooking apples as an alternative but this publishing system has trouble decoding the measurement so i'm printing it here).
  • cream butter, sugar, eggs & vanilla.
  • add flour & milk.
  • arrange apples on raw mixture.
  • bake @ 180ºC for 30 - 45min (check with toothpick).
  • SAUCE.
  • boil slowly for 20min.
  • pour over hot cake.
  • pop back in oven.
  • (you could halve sugar in future - after trying - if you don't like it as sweet).
