- 226.79 g beef (minced)
- 453.59 g granny smith apple (peeled, cored, chopped)
- 118.29 ml raisins
- 177.44 ml golden raisin
- 118.29 ml dried currant
- 59.14 ml candied citron peel
- 59.14 ml candied fruit
- 14.79 ml quick-cooking tapioca
- 14.79 ml butter
- 118.29 ml sugar
- 88.74 ml apple juice
- 59.14 ml dry sherry
- 29.58 ml brandy
- 29.58 ml molasses
- 4.92 ml ground cinnamon
- 2.46 ml ground nutmeg
- 2.46 ml ground mace
- 0.61 ml fresh cracked pepper
directions
- Combine all in a crockpot.
- Cover. Cook on low for 10 hours.

This is the first time I made mincemeat with 'meat'. I prepared it for Bergy's -" BEYOND BURGERS, GROUND / MINCED MEAT" It is an easy recipe, smells wonderful as it simmers on the stove, I added additional apple juice as required and increased the cinnamon to two teaspoons. I like the taste of the finished product, but not the texture with the minced beef. It took about two hours to simmer on the stove top. Worth a try!!
