My Meatloaf

1 meatloaf

ingredients
- 1⁄2 lb hamburger meat (I'm poor so I use the cheap stuff)
- 1 large egg
- 1 slice bread (yes it works) or 1 tablespoon of uncooked oatmeal (yes it works)
- 2 -3 tablespoons mccormick grinders monterey steak seasoning and fresh ground black pepper (or whatever spices tickle your fancy)
- 2 cloves of minced garlic or 3 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 -2 tablespoon milk
directions
- Pre-Heat oven to 300 degrees F.
- Wash your hands.
- Add all ingredients to a bowl.
- Mix with your hands.
- Form into a loaf shape on a broiler pan (I have one sized for a toaster oven that I use).
- Cook for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and enjoy!
- Serve with veggies and a glass of milk.(or a beer!).

This is an easy recipe and was tasty. I missed the little bit of tomato sauce I usually use, so would add that next time. I subbed ground turkey. I don't keep commercial seasoning salts around, so used a bit of all of the ingredients listed in a copycat recipe for the Monterey blend. I would add a bit more of the dried onion next time. Made for Fall 2011 PAC game.
