Great hummus! I added about 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt to thin the texture a bit, but otherwise followed the recipe faithfully. Great flavor--we all loved it1

This hummus was delicious, but the texture was way too thick for my tastes. I don't have a food processor and it nearly killed the motor in my blender. This might be because I boiled the chickpeas myself instead of getting them canned. I added about two cups of "broth" from the chickpeas to the mixture and it came out spectacularly. I think I might add less salt next time, though. Thanks for the recipe!

Great, hummous!!! I subbed fresh lime juice for lemon as that is what I had on hand and added a couple T. of plain yoghurt and it turned out creamy and delicious. Oh, and I also used peanut butter instead of tahini (an Alton Brown tip) because tahini is so expensive and I only use it to make hummous. Thanks for the simple and great recipe for a tasty and healty dip.

I make "choo-moose" all the time, but have been pronouncing it all wrong!! Never again. Your recipe, Miraklegirl tastes more authentic than the version I have been serving. I love the consistency of yours, smooth and creamy. I did add several pinches of cayenne because my DH loves it hot, but he did comment on how much better he liked your recipe than the one I've been making. Thanks for upgrading one of our favorites.

Love it. Made it in the Magic Bullet in 5 minutes! A few of the chickpeas didn't fit in so I garnished the plate with them (spread the hummous over a plate, put some tahina in the middle and garnished with the remaining chickpeas and some parsley). A HUGE hit!

Absolutely wonderful! Since we like our hummus with some heat, I did subsitute the garlic for a tablespoon of garlic/chili paste that I had on hand. It was just enough heat for us. Thank you, Miraklegirl!

I am in love!!! Made my own tahini Homemade Tahini! based on another reviewer's recommendation and it was well worth it! This is the best hummous recipe I have come across to date. Mine was a little heavy on the garlic side, so I'll scale that back ever so slightly the next time. Garnished with extra cumin, fresh ground pepper and paprika. Served with pita and carrots. Yum!

It's official...I am never buying hummus again!! It's less expensive to make at home, very easy, tastes fabulous and I can control what is in it. Thank you so much for an awesome recipe. The 2nd time I made this, I added less oil and 1/2 the salt to make it a little healthier... I had great results. Love the cumin!

Thank you!! Every other recipe I've tried has either too much garlic the next day when all the flavours are blended or not enough. This was just right - and I love the extra tahini! It's my favourite snack to take to work with veggies!
