I got this recipe from my friend. She was from Italy, stayed in the US a couple of years and then returned to Italy. I feel fortunate to have learned the way to make a true Italian meatball.The unusual ingredient is the mashed potato to bind the meat together. Adds great consistency and flavor.I make this with ground turkey and works great too.Thanks Marissa!

Directions

  1. Bake potato and mash.
  2. Mix all ingredients together and form into walnut sized meatballs.
  3. Pan fry them in olive oil or bake ant 350 degree oven until no longer pink.
  4. Toss with your favorite sauce and serve over noodles. YUM!
