This is fantastic! I actually nixed the water and it made for a creamier (although smaller) smoothie and I added vanilla extract. Using skim milk instead of lowfat, it calculated at 85 calories. So good!

I wanted to use up left over pumpkin and this recipe was perfect for that! I did add a frozen banana for a frothier drink. Frozen some for school lunches and enjoyed the leftovers for lunch today!
This is an awesome smoothie. I just made it for my very picky 2 year old and he just gobbled it up. I even added a few left over kidney beans to give it some more protein and it was fabulous.
WOW! As soon as I found this recipe, I literally ran to the store. I made it and wow! I love it! Wish it was a tad "creamier", but for a low cal smoothie....outstanding!!!
Very filling and EASY to make! I made 2 changes though... a) I decreased the amt of water from 1/2 cup to 1/4 cup to make it a little thicker. b) I used non-fat milk instead of the soy milk. My recipe calculated at 85 calories per serving, but that is still really low! This is a great recipe that can be used with virtually ANY fruit in place the of the pumpkin. Believe me, I will be using this one a LOT!
