  • Combine basil, garlic, cheeses and nuts in a blender. Process to mix well. On low speed, slowly add olive oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Process to desired consistency then let stand 5 minutes at room temperature before serving.

  1. Didnt have any immediate solid plans for this, but I just like to keep pesto on hand. This version is so fresh tasting, and such a vibrant green (not like the dark green storebought pesto). I have a homemade pizza night happening soon, so I'm sure that I'll be using some of this there, as well as in pasta dishes and chicken salad (my two favorite places for pesto to be).
