My Favorite Tangy Coleslaw

"This is my favorite coleslaw - lots of vegetables and a perfect sweet/sour dressing."

• Serves: 10

ingredients

• 1419.54 ml shredded cabbage
• 4 medium carrots, shredded
• 4 celery ribs, chopped
• 118.29 ml finely chopped green pepper
• 118.29 ml finely chopped onion
• 118.29 ml cider vinegar
• 29.58 ml vegetable oil
• 88.74 ml sugar
• 2.46 ml salt
• 1.23 ml pepper
• 1.23 ml paprika

directions

1. In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, celery, green pepper and onion.
2. In a small bowl, combine the dressing ingredients.
3. Pour over cabbage mixture and toss to coat.
4. Cover and refrigerate until serving.

I'm very sorry to disagree with the previous comments but this is one of the worst cole slaw recipes I've ever made. I did it all to the specifics of the directions and it was horrific. I threw it all in the garbage.

This is a very good no- mayo coleslaw. Tart and tangy. The dressing seems to marinate into the cabbage and other veggies. This recipe goes great with a grilled Nathans hotdog and potato chips. Yummy!
