This is so good and so very easy. The flavors of the ingredients meld together and work so well together. This is my DH's favorite Chinese dipping sauce for fried won ton's.

Ingredients Nutrition

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in small saucepan over med. heat, being careful not to burn. Bring to a boil.
  2. Use 2 parts cornstarch to 1 part water, mixed together to thicken the above sauce. If you want to thicken further, mix another 2 parts cornstarch to 1 part water together and add to the mixture, until you achieve the thickness of your choice. If too thick, thin mixture with a little orange juice or water.
  3. I don't know how many this serves.
  4. I just guessed. It should be enough to pour over 3 or 4 pieces of chicken, or fish.

Made exactly as the recipe says and it was really good! I will be using this one again. Next time for ribs on the grill! Elaine

Thanks for this easy recipe! I did not have pineapple juice so I doubled the orange juice. I was also missing corn starch. I just cooked it a bit longer to thicken and it was fine. The worchestershire sauce was a bit much for us so I will probably cut down on the amount next time, but it was wonderful as a dipping sauce for fried shrimp! Thanks again for sharing!
