- Add 1 cup water to measuring cup.
- Crack egg into water.
- Add additional lukewarm water to make 1 1/4 cup.
- Mix egg and water with fork and pour into bread machine pan.
- Add additional ingredients in order in recipe.
- Set bread machine settings to basic white setting with light crust.
- If dough appears too sticky, add a small amount of bread flour to pan. Keep adding until dough leaves side of pan.

Even with carefully measured ingredients, I had to add nearly a half cup of flour to get this to form into a proper dough. Perhaps you need to tweak this recipe, but feels like it should have 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 cups of bread flour, rather than 3, to balance out the liquid ingredients better? I will review the bread when it has baked - I'm using a new Hamilton Beach bread machine. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
