Great Recipe!! Followed the recipe exactly with one minor addition. Threw in a Hershey's milk chocolate bar just before simmering. It was gone in no time and my DW wanted another bowl! I will use this recipe again! Thanks for sharing.
Best Chili I've ever had! Followed the recipe exactly, left out the beans. Will make this again and again.
DH said it didn't even taste like chili. With a lot of work and ingredients, was disappointed with results. Made it exactly as writte so sorry but I won't be repeating this one.
This was great chili - I was a little worried to make this because it has so many ingredients and I was sure I was going to forget something or mess something up, but it was easy to put together and delightfully tasty! I made as written. Made for Market Tag.
This was amazing! I made this for the Superbowl and everyone said, "OMG, this is SO good!" Thanks for making our party a hit!
This is now my favorite chili too. I served this for Super Bowl Sunday and everyone LOVED it. Even my husband who believes there's always room for improvement and never awards top scores gave this five stars. He and my Father-In-Law both said this was the best chili they've ever had. I too skipped the water and instead used an entire container of Guiness stout. This will definately go into my cookbook. Thank you so much for sharing.
Perfect! I really love this chili. Hearty, satisfying with just as much heat as you want. Easy to adjust to what your family likes. I used venison in mine and it was terrific!
Being from Texas we eat lots of chili, and this is a great one! I used a whole jalapeno and a little extra Tabasco, and used the rest of the bottle of beer as part of the water added. This was just spicy enough and had a great rich flavor. It seemed pretty soupy at the beginning of the cook time but after 3 hours it had cooked down to a thick, rich chili. We really enjoyed this - thanks for sharing the recipe!
I only used 2 pounds of ground turkey, but left the rest of the ingredients the same (oh, except I only used 1 tablespoon of honey and omitted bell pepper and Mrs. Dash… didn’t have). Three hours was a bit too long to simmer uncovered, started drying out. My DH loved this chili. FANTASTIC!
My husband LOVED this chili, I am not realy a fan of any chili but I thought it was pretty good. I left out the celery because I had none and it does seem like a long list but as someone else said, it is all things you have readily available in your pantry. I cut the meat to half of what the recipe called for and kept everything else the same. It was well received by the chili lovers in my life. Thanks, I will make this again. Served with cornbread with jalapenos
