  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In large bowl, put the bread crumbs, onions, pepper, garlic, the Worcestershire sauce, red hot sauce, make a well in the center break the egg, meat and ketchup. Now is when it gets messy -- you want to mix all the items together.
  3. Put meatloaf mixture in a greased pan. Smear the topping mixture on top. Place in the preheated oven.
  4. Bake for 50 minutes. When that is done, take out the meatloaf. If you want to, place 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top. Bake till the cheese is melted.

take away brown suggar and raw onion and you would have a good meatloaf.

This was absolutely amazing! I loved the flavor! Although, I would double this recipe for 6-8 people, as after it cooks down a bit it's a tad smaller. And the only "doctoring" I did to this is I put a block (rough..2"x5") of mozzerella stuffed in the middle. That's how I usually make my meatloaf. This one's a keeper for sure!!!! There wasn't one morsel left! Thank you so much for sharing this fabulous recipe! xo LA :-)
