I make this smoothie almost everyday to get my fruit and vitamins!
- 1 cup orange juice
- 4 -6 frozen strawberries
- 1 ripe banana, peeled
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
- Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into glass and enjoy!
Delicious smoothie. I love that it is a dairy-free/vegan option and that it contains a lot of nutritional value! Thank you for a new favorite smoothie!
I loved this smoothie! I used golden flax seeds, which I ground in my herb grinder first, before adding them. I used 100% Valencia Orange Juice (not from concentrate), and admittedly skipped the nutritional yeast. I'll make this again, and will remember the yeast next time. Thanks, Sharon! This is a nice thick delicious smoothie. I omitted the flax seeds but added the yeast. Wow! Very filling, and no guilt. I will be making these everyday!!! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful smoothie Sharon. (Made for Bevy Tag 9/08) Cheers ~V
