DH liked these biscuits but they did not rise as well as I thought they should have. Think my self rising flour might have expired as my muffins almost looked like mini's. They are very easy to make and I brushed them with butter that I added some garlic powder to since I served the biscuits with the famous lasagna. Will give these a try again at a later date. DarksLight thank you for posting this recipe. Made and reviewed for Pick A Chef - Spring 2009.

At first I was wondering why the consistency was like a muffin mix and looking at the servings it made,I fitted them all in a large 6 muffin tray.I watched it rise and rise and wondered if I might have done something wrong that they look like muffins. After it was done, I took it out and they shrank making it look like your photo. I took a bite and it had a consistency of soft bread biscuits. Heaved a sigh of relief that they turned out just right. It went well with your delicious Recipe #318308 and Recipe #318375. Thanks for sharing this, Darkslight! Made for my Fall PAC baby 2008.
