This is a wonderful dish from Staub.


  1. Clean the mussels under running water and keep cool.
  2. Saute the chopped shallots in the butter for 2 minutes over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced prosciutto and cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. Add the wine and bring to a boil.
  5. Add the mussels and cover.
  6. Cook until all mussels are opened.
  7. Add parsley and serve.
  8. Yum!
