    Directions:

      Cook bacon in a heavy skillet over medium high heat until crisp.

      Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
    3. 3
      Add garlic, cook 4 minutes.
    4. 4
      Add tomatoes and cream and cook until cream is absorbed.
    5. 5
      Sprinkle cheese on top, stir and cook 1 minute.

      Oh wow, a perfect side dish for a dinner of barbecued steak, baked potatoes and a green salad. Didn't have cream on hand, so substituted sour cream which worked very well. Also added two finely chopped spring/green onions and a squeeze of lime juice. We love mushrooms and I will make this often. Thanks so much for posting.
