Yum! I made these as directed and served as a side dish for a German dinner. These were simple to make, tasted great and were wonderful over Buttered Noodles With Caraway Seeds. Thanks cookiedog for a nice treat. Made by a fellow Unruly Under the Influence for ZWT6.

LOVED THEM! These mushrooms taste so good, and they are pretty as can be when plated. (The picture doesn't do them justice.) I used dry sherry for the white wine. This is a terrific recipe cookiedog, I will definitely be making them again so I can give them 5 stars. Made for ZWT, please see my rating system as I rate tougher than most.

These were very good mushrooms! I can't eat bacon with other rich ingredients so I left it out and used half & half in place of the heavy cream - this worked well as they were nice and creamy. I loved the lemon it added a nice top note to the wine/cream flavors. We just ate them as an appetizer as is, yum! (My DS said for them to be 5 stars I would have to add garlic - next time I will try that) Thank you cookie dog for your wonderful recipe.
