Mushroom Topped Pork Chops

- 4 -6 pork chops, boneless,3/4 inch thick
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine

TOPPING
- 1 cup finely chopped mushroom
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1⁄2 cup parsley, finely chopped
- 1⁄2 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash black pepper
- 2 -3 tablespoons cheddar cheese, grated
directions
- Place pork chops in a microsafe dish.
- Prepare topping: In a microsafe dish,place chopped mushrooms and dot with butter.
- Microwave at HIGH for 3 minutes until mushrooms don't look raw.
- Drain.
- Let cool.
- Mix together mushrooms, parsley, onion, egg and salt and pepper.
- Place topping on pork chops.
- Microwave at MEDIUM HIGH power for 6 minutes, uncovered.
- Let rest for 5 minutes.
- Uncover and microwave at MEDIUM HIGH power for another 4 minutes.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Microwave at HIGH power for 3 to 4 minutes until cheese is melted and chops are done to your liking.
