Want to jazz up your steak tonight? Try this delicious steak topper.
- 1 lb mushroom, sliced
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1 large celery rib, small dice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄2-1 small onion, small dice
- salt and pepper, to taste (optional)
- Melt butter in saucepan, add veggies and saute until soft but do not brown. Simmer until most of the butter has thickened.
- Spoon over steaks.
DH loved these! Made this recipe to top our BBQ steak and served with Sullivan Potatoes for a Crowd#328854 and a green salad. We had a wonderful dinner. Thank you for posting. Made for Fall PAC 2012.
Made these for hubby and he thought they were good but it seemed like they were missing something. I followed the recipe exactly as written.
