- 1⁄2 lb fresh mushroom, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1⁄4 cup sliced green onion
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- In serving bowl toss the mushrooms with the lemon juice until slices are slightly moistened.
- Add green onions oil and salt and toss again.
- Chill before serving.
- Serve on bed of lettuce.
Made it just the way the recipe calls for and it is terrific. Let it rest for a while in the refrigerator for the flavors to meld.
A good side dish to BBQ'd steak & baked potatoes! I scaled the recipe in half, used sea salt and, as Cliff suggested, made it early in the day. Thanx Fluffy!
