I expected to like this but I had no idea I'd be such a piggy about it! I made 1/2 a very long baguette and ate the whole thing myself. So simple and so very, very tasty!

This was really simple and nice. i had it on a partly baked gf french stick. very nice, will make again. i loved the melted gouda. Thanks for posting. Miss Pixie x x x :)
What a nice surprise appetizer. I made this with a small baugette of French bread. I think the flavors of the cheese and basil were outstanding together. A nice balance with the marinara sauce. They were the perfect little bites. I did use smoked Gouda instead of plain, because that's what I had in my refrigerator.
