Great for entertaining
- 1⁄2 lb fresh asparagus, cut in 1 inch pieces
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- pepper, freshly ground
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1⁄2 lb mushroom, thinly sliced
- Cook asparagus until just tender, drain and chill.
- Combine lemon juice, salt, pepper and a sprinkle of nutmeg in a small bowl. Beat in oil.
- Toss mushrooms and asparagus with dressing till well coated.
