- 2 cups cooked rice (brown is best)
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup thick tomato puree or 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 onions, chopped fine
- 1 cup cracker crumb
- 2 tablespoons oil (or bacon fat)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sage
- 2 tablespoons chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- pepper
directions
- Combine all ingredients.
- Place in a greased loaf pan.
- Bake 350F for 1 hour.
- Serve with tomato sauce.
