"This is a recipe that my Grandma gave to me and it goes down a treat with the kids! Nice and simple to make and works great served with garlic bread."

  • Peel and chop onion.
  • Chop Pepper.
  • Chop Mushrooms.
  • Crush garlic.
  • Shallow fry mince slowly in oil until brown.
  • Add mince, onion, pepper, mushrooms and garlic to pot.
  • Squeeze in half a tube of tomato puree.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, be sure to drain them if they have a lot of juice.
  • Stir in a teaspoon to a teaspoon and a half of mixed herbs.
  • Bring to the boil and simmer for 1.5 hours.
  • 10 minutes before serving boil the pasta.
  • Serve hot with optional Garlic bread.
  • Can be frozen immediately after cooling.
  • Enjoy!
