ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 3⁄4 cups milk
- 1⁄4 cup oil
- 1⁄4 cup applesauce
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1⁄2 cup flax seed meal
- 1⁄4 cup wheat germ
- 1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
directions
- Whisk first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine remaining 7 ingredients and beat into wet until smooth.

For multigrain, these were pretty darn good. Even my DH and my 2 year old ate them. I thought they were great with fresh berries. They were verrrryyy filling - usually I can get through one whole waffle and a bite or two of another - i couldn't make it through one of these guys! A little snafu in the directions - mix the first FOUR ingredients, then continue on. Otherwise, simple recipe. Very nutiritious and tasty, thanks for posting.
