I love this marinade because its so versatile. You can make several batches of the base, store that in the fridge & add the seasonings when you decide on your entree. It is very tasty and a terrific tenderizer for those "economy cuts".

  1. Combine all ingredients in a jar& shake well.
  2. Pour over meat or poultry.
  3. Cover& place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours but best if left overnight.
  4. Stir or turn occasionally.

Ultra good! marinade - used it with beef. Did not change a thing:) Will try with the other meats as well real soon. Love the flavour that worcestershire sauce lends to meats. Believe me I discovered that sauce only after I discovered Zaar! Slurp! Slurp!

Excellent! I made the "For Pork" version as directed. I marinaded a pork loin roast for 6 hours before roasting. I was delighted with the complexity and layering of flavors. The Worchestershire and soy added an Oriental flavor, countered by the sage and garlic and zipped up a bit with mustard and pepper. This is a very versatile base for marinades. Next up will be the "For Poultry" version!
