This is the best spiced mulled wine I tasted! I made this for every holiday party and it was a huge hit with everyone!!
My wife was having trouble sleeping, so I made this recipe as a nightcap for her one night, and she slept like a baby. It also very simple, and tastes absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing this.
The idea here and the choice of juices/ratio between juices are perfect... but I scaled way back on the juices and sugar and it still tasted amazing. Also omitted the water and took away a few of the cloves (that's a lot of cloves).

This recipe was a huge hit and absolutely delish! I made it exactly according to the recipe and it came out perfect.
I used this recipe as the basis and then modified as follows: the juice of 6 oranges, 3 cups of white grape juice (because that's what I had on-hand), the juice of 2 lemons, reduced cloves to 18 whole, added 1 whole star of anise, and omitted the water. I also sliced one orange and one lemon to garnish the individual mugs. It was a hit, everyone loved it. We had to make another batch the next night. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe. We will be enjoying this drink every winter.
I served this sweet and spicy mulled wine at an Arbonne/Angela's Adornments party and everyone loved it! Now I've had a request to bring it to another party. Excellent!
