I "almost" followed to a T. I used Rotel instead of can of tomatoes sprinkled some celery seed since I didn't have any celery on hand and omitted the mushrooms. I also used Macaroni instead of angel hair pasta. It was delish! Eveyone enjoyed it too! Thanks for sharing!!
I was looking for a potluck dish, i doubled the recipe and kept one for ourselves...great midweek comfort food, feeds a bunch of people.we loved it!
Disappointed. I hate to say it because this is the top rated recipe for ground beef so I was looking forward to trying it. However, this was the blandest dish I have ever made. I followed the directions to a "T" and it was very bland. It took a lot of time to prepare and in my opionion was a waste of ingredients.
The cream soup adds a great flavor. Due to taste preferences in our house, I used cream of chicken soup and omitted the mushrooms and bell peppers. I also added garlic. Next time I might add a bit of cayenne pepper for a kick.
Our family really enjoyed this recipe. I did make some substitutions to it first. I used ground chicken breast in place of beef, omitted the worcestershire sauce due to allergies, and added a drained can of corn to it. This is a recipe to be added to our make again list. Even my stepdaughter said it was delicious.
this was excellent! I used ground turkey and didn't have brown sugar, so I added a little bbq sauce. It was great! I was iffy on the cream of mushroom soup, but loved it in the end. We had garlic bread with it and it was perfect.
I made this recipe tonight. We enjoyed it. I liked the sauce and debated with not putting the cream of mushroom soup in. I did it and it was good. But I think next time I will not put the soup in. I liked the sauce too much to have it diluted by the soup.
this is an awesome casserole great flavor and looks i just put in 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and instead of tomato sauce i put in pasta sauce it was what i had on hand and man when it got done it was so good there wasnt any leftovers great with garlic bread thanks for sharing
Very easy recipe and delicious too! The only tweek I made was adding about 5 oz of cream cheese to the mixture (like other reviewers, I mixed everything but cheese together before putting in 9 x 13 baking pan) and it was so good. An added bonus it that this recipe calls for basic pantry items. Thanks so much!
Very good, cheap, easy! Will make it again, but next time I will double the sauce as we like our pasta extra saucy and this turned out a little dry for us. I used cream of celery soup and left out mushrooms (I don't like the canned variety), and I broke up the angel hair in thirds before cooking. DH and DS (age 2) gobbled it up & it still made plenty leftovers. Will make again to freeze for DH to heat up when I'm at work. Thanks for sharing! Will be keeping this in my receipe files for a go-to recipe!
