• 236.59 ml ice cube
• 4 fluid ounce pineapple juice
• 2 fluid ounce rum
• 1 fluid ounce vanilla Schnapps
• 1 fluid ounce triple sec
• 1 lime wedge
• 2 maraschino cherries

directions

1. Fill a highball glass with ice, and pour in the pineapple juice, rum, vanilla schnapps, and triple sec. Stir to mix, and garnish with lime and maraschino cherries to serve.

This was a delightful cocktail. I couldn't find vanilla schnapps in any of the stores near me, so I made my own (it took almost two weeks before it was ready). But next time, I think I'll just use vanilla vodka instead, because that's pretty much what the homemade vanilla schnapps tasted like, with a slight hint an herbal touch to it. But the drink is quite tasty, and refreshing. It offers a delightfully exotic after-effect with each sip, with the vanilla schnapps sneaking in at the last minute to give the assortment of flavors a wonderfully sweet warmth.
