directions

  • Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.
  • Meatloaf.
  • In large bowl combine ground beef, oats, soup mix, worcestershire sauce and ketchup. I mix it with my hand so everything is combined and it seems to help the texture of the meatloaf. Form into a loaf and place in loaf pan.
  • Topping.
  • In small bowl combine ketchup, worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Pour over top of loaf.
  • Put in oven and bake for 50 minutes to an hour.
  • I serve with garlic mashed potatoes a light salad and dinner rolls. The leftovers are great for sandwiches the next day.

  1. I made the loaf. It was OK. Tasted fine. I could say that my meatloaf was not "mouthwatering", in fact, it was on the dry side. The reason for this, maybe, that I used extra lean ground beef. Maybe if I used regular ground beef it would be much more juicier. I loved the toping so you might want to double it. I used cold leftovers for sandwiches and it was very yammi.
