- 6 slices firm textured bread
- 12 slices bacon
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 6 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 6 slices tomatoes

- Toast the bread and slice into 6 pieces.
- Saute the bacon for 5 minutes or until half-cooked.
- Spread with butter and place a slice of cheese on each piece of bread.
- Top with a slice of tomato and two slices of bacon.
- Place under a hot broiler and cook until cheese has melted and the bacon is crisp.
- Serve hot.
