These are very good; however, next time I will put a little less sugar as they are very sweet. I put squares of a plain milk chocolate candy bar on top while warm and spread it around when it softened. Quick way to frost and tasty!

We really enjoyed these. Not really chocolatey and not really a blonde brownie. Good combination of ingredients and super simple to put together. I was afraid they might be too sweet, but the walnuts really helped cut the sweetness. I doubled the recipe because I was planning on taking them to work to try on my co-workers. They never made it that far. Doubling the recipe and using a 9x13 pan, I set the timer for 25 minutes so I could see how they were doing. They were already done after 25 minutes. I wasn't really expecting them to be done yet, but I know my oven bakes a little faster than some others I have used. We'll definitely be making these again (but I'll probably only make a single batch in case they don't make it to work again!).Definitely a keeper. Thank you for sharing!

OK, I've died and gone to heaven here. These brownies are real delicious. I threw some marshmallows and chocolate chips on the top after I took them out of the oven. Once cooled I frosted them with a can of store bought frosting. I really enjoyed these and so did my family. Thanks.
